About
The idea started with my two small children.
Both of them are autistic. They have no shortage of clothes, but I noticed that there were only a handful of items that would get worn over and over again. Other outfits were worn once, and every time after that, there would either be a struggle to get them into the outfit in the first place, or once they were in it, it would get peeled off and abandoned. So, I started to wonder what the issue was, was it the colour, the design? Was it just kids being kids, or was there more to it? Sure, sometimes, it was a matter of taste, but for the most part it turned out to be the feel of them. Tags that scratched, seams that rubbed, or even just the feel of the fabric.
Searching for clothes that matched those needs had mixed results, so Korapace was born to make finding the right clothes easier. Clothes that don’t have tags, seams that lie flat, and fabric that’s soft, comfortable, and doesn’t get in the way.
Our garments are made for everyone. Sensory friction is an issue that started this venture, as the statistics show that up to 30% of the population are affected by sensory issues, but comfort is something that everyone can appreciate.
Our range is constantly expanding, so if what you’re looking for isn’t here yet, it might be soon, and we have some exciting stuff lined up for the future.
This is only the beginning.
